1. right click on the folder
2. choose "team"->"set property" menu
3. from dropdown property name field select "svn:ignore"
4. fill the text area field with pattern of file,
example:
*.xls <enter>
*.doc
5. to set the property to child folder, just tick "Set Property Recursively"
6. OK
7. commit changes < setting property folder >
7. delete files that will be ignored in that folder
8. commit changes <deleting files>
